A mosque is a place of worship that can be used for religious activities, especially Islamic education activities. This research objective was to discuss how the efforts of the government of the State of Pahang in realizing the Tafaqquh Fid Din (Advanced Islamic Studies) programme as an Islamic education for the Pahang community. This research design was field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of the head of Pahang Foundation officers, adult learners and mosque takmir. The results showed that the Pahang State government is very serious about creating formal religious studies classes in mosques to the maximum extent. It was evidenced by the busy schedule of the classes’ assembly in a week. The syllabus of the scheduled subjects has several Islamic disciplines such as fiqh, tafsir, tauhid, sirah and other subjects. The implementation of the classes is on every Saturday and Sunday, guided by certified teachers. The Tafaqquh Fiddin program received a positive response and community support.
